Sometimes, you need a new perspective. My family bought me a new camera lens for the holidays. As all three of the pinball chaos readers clearly see, I am still improving my pinball photography. But, I figure I will learn which end of the spectrum is better, when I more confidently know the settings for the middle. The plastic protectors are a great idea to add to any machine!
I used it to shoot some cool mods and up close images from a Guardians of the Galaxy, along with some interesting sculpted mods. Let's take a look at the Ronan's Hammer mod and the Awesome Tape Player .

These were all shot on a Canon EFS 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM lens. It looks like this, when the manufacturer takes the photo of the lens.
I think it's a fun lens, because it has a light on it. I haven't needed the light yet, because I've been shooting pinball lights, but I like unnecessary features and lights. So, this is a winner in my book. Next, I'll do a bit of video with it.
